Our Program
YPCO rehearses weekly on Saturday mornings from 9:30-11:30. Each season ends with a public concert where our musicians will demonstrate what they've been working on.
Membership in YPCO includes:

Eligibility
We encourage everyone to join us! We do not have a set age limit, but our students usually span the ages of 5-18 and we take musicians of all levels. No auditions required.
Rehearsal Visit
If you are interested in trying out YPCO, we offer rehearsal visits where prospective students can see what typical rehearsals look like. To schedule a rehearsal visit, please contact our orchestra manager, Sofia, at manager@ypco.org, and fill out the rehearsal visit form on our contact page.
Pricing
Please register through the YPCO online registration system. See below. Tuition may be paid in full or in automatic payments with a deposit.
Early bird registration for 2026-2027 FULL YEAR Season: Tuition is $1200 up until August 15th, 2026. After that date the price will be $1300.
Early bird registration for 2026 FALL ONLY Season: Tuition is $600 up until August 15th, 2026. After that date the price will be $650.
Financial aid is available. See below.
Financial Aid

We offer financial aid based on household annual income, that is outlined in the table below.
To be considered, families must submit a letter of request and recent tax forms, W2’s and/or 1099’s, to our Orchestra Manager, Sofia, at manager@ypco.org. If the Board of Directors approves your family request for assistance, the orchestra manager will give you a coupon code to use when you are registering online. If you have a special circumstance, please apply and explain your situation.

Parent's Obligations
Parents' obligations include helping students fulfill their musical responsibilities to the Orchestra by encouraging at-home practice, 100% attendance, and promptness and courtesy at all times. Parents are also expected to help in all advertising and fund-raising opportunities. Please view YPCO Guidelines and Policies below for further details.
Concert Attire
YPCO wears nice, white collared dress shirts with black pants or skirts and nice black shoes (NO SNEAKERS). Or all black, in which case you may wear a dress! Skirts should be knee length and comfortably worn while seated.
